Ben just turned three last month and tonight we spent over two hours after dinner mostly writing and tracing letters as well as other activities in his books (matching, patterns, counting, etc.). How many three year olds stay focused on anything for more than 20 minutes? Never mind for over two hours! And are three year olds supposed to be writing already? I didn't do this stuff until I was about 5. I couldn't break him away from these books tonight! He spent a good hour doing these same books with Papa yesterday too.
I had trouble making him stop just to go to bed, so we stayed up a little later tonight studying. Is this a sign of what's to come in Ben's future? I hope so! And yes, it's looking like Ben is a lefty!
