Climbers
I took the girls out of their high chairs and turned around for 30 seconds which was apparently enough time for the girls to climb up and sit on their trays. Then after I took them down and removed the trays, they pushed their chars over to the counter and then used them as step stools to reach items on the counter as well as turn on the toaster oven. They're also climbing up and standing on their changing table now too. So if you ask me what I've doing lately... This is it. Chasing babies.

When you give a baby an Oreo...
When you give a baby an Oreo... this is what you get. For some reason Cailee was actually rubbing the cookie on her face. Maybe she's just a trend setter on a new facial treatment. Come to think of it, her skin does look pretty good...
Sunday Funday!
The girls had fun with Nana & Pop-pop yesterday. They all played well together and had fun coloring together along with other activities. The visit concluded with some great group hugs and then for some strange reason an apparent new goodbye ritual called the "showing of bellies." I personally hadn't heard or seen this one before, but everyone participating seemed to enjoy it!

100 pieces!
Ben did a 100 piece puzzle pretty much all by himself the other day. I helped him get started with the edges and then he took over from there and asked me not to help. It's a 6+ puzzle! Pretty amazing for a four year old!

Open Puffs!
The girls got a hold of a can of baby "puffs" and figured out how to open it on their own.... They ate their share and left the rest for Scooby.

Photo Shoot
A couple weeks ago we had a photo shoot with the girls with a friend of ours who is a professional photographer. This is the first picture that we've seen so far. We tried so hard to get them both smiling at the same time, but it was either one or the other - and there was nothing we could do about it. Its doesn't matter though because they're just so cute no matter what!

Harvest Festival (Brenna & Cailee)
The girls also enjoyed the Harvest Festival today. They both enjoyed just being outside on such a beautiful day. I'm still amazed at how much attention the twins get in public places. People just love to come over and ask us, "Are they twins?" Humpf, Yes, I reply, (even though I want to tell them that they're actually 3 years apart and ones just a midget.) Then the follow up question is almost always, "Are they identical?" No, ones got lighter curly hair and the other has darker straight hair... That's usually what I say next. Then if we happen to walk by those people again later on you hear, "Oh! Look! There's those cute twins again!" We just smile and wave. I don't mind at all though. Jill & I, of course, think that we have the cutest girls in the world, so all the attention is just expected.
I took they girls out of their stroller for a while to let them stretch out and of course take some pictures while Jill and Ben went off to do more sand art. At first, the girls were a bit confused with the location on the grass by a bale of hay. In the first picture Brenna looks pissed off and Cailee looks like she's about to say a really bad word. Then I took off their bibs, stood them up and leaned them against the hay, and they enjoyed that. They looked like two little ladies, although, all they wanted to do was eat the hay.
