Ben's Boys Weekend

It's time for an update on Ben, after all this is his blog... A few weeks ago I took him on his first boys only weekend. Two of my friends have boys Ben's age so we all went up to the Poconos for an overnight trip. It was a crazy weekend and none of us got much rest, but we all had a blast!

Here are the boys at the top of the local mountain that we climbed - yes there was a few inches of snow and yes it was cold, but it didn't stop these little troopers! (Luca, Ben & George)

Cailee Smile Caught on Film!

Jill caught Cailee smiling the other day! What a cutie! She definitely smiles a little more often than Brenna. Brenna is just the more serious kid of the two. She will smile for us, but we need to earn it. Cailee dishes out the smiles a lot easier... But she also will cry a lot more often too. Sometimes Cailee will be crying her eyes out and Brenna just stares at her as if she's saying, "what's your problem?"

Can't catch a Smile!

The girls are really starting to interact and smile for us more lately, but I haven't been able to catch those smiles on camera much yet though. With or without a smile, they're still adorable!

Cailee and Brenna are 3 months old!

Its hard to believe that Cailewe and Brenna are three months old today already!  Look how cute!  Now if they would only start sleeping through the night....

 

 

All Tucked In

I took the girls for their first doctor check up yesterday. They are just so tiny in those big car seats. They're definitely starting to wake up more now... especially at night. <yawn>

The Girls are getting ready to come home today! At least Brenna seems to be a little excited. Cailee just keeps sleeping.

More Adorable Every Day

These little girls are getting more adorable every day. They're still sleeping most of the time right now, but they woke up a few times today to show us their beautiful eyes, but then knocked right out again after a little snack. Ben got to meet his sisters today for the first time, and even though earlier in the day he yelled out "Ewweww!" every time I showed him a picture of the girls, he was as sweet as could be with them when he got to meet them in person. He rubbed their heads ever so gently and wanted to hold and feed them right away. He's doing a great job of being an older brother already! He even was upset when we had to leave them in the hospital tonight. He wanted to take them home so they could sleep in his room tonight. Jill & I are so proud of our family.
