Photo Shoot

A couple weeks ago we had a photo shoot with the girls with a friend of ours who is a professional photographer.  This is the first picture that we've seen so far.  We tried so hard to get them both smiling at the same time, but it was either one or the other - and there was nothing we could do about it.  Its doesn't matter though because they're just so cute no matter what!

Harvest Festival (Brenna & Cailee)

The girls also enjoyed the Harvest Festival today. They both enjoyed just being outside on such a beautiful day. I'm still amazed at how much attention the twins get in public places. People just love to come over and ask us, "Are they twins?" Humpf, Yes, I reply, (even though I want to tell them that they're actually 3 years apart and ones just a midget.) Then the follow up question is almost always, "Are they identical?" No, ones got lighter curly hair and the other has darker straight hair... That's usually what I say next. Then if we happen to walk by those people again later on you hear, "Oh! Look! There's those cute twins again!" We just smile and wave. I don't mind at all though. Jill & I, of course, think that we have the cutest girls in the world, so all the attention is just expected.

I took they girls out of their stroller for a while to let them stretch out and of course take some pictures while Jill and Ben went off to do more sand art. At first, the girls were a bit confused with the location on the grass by a bale of hay. In the first picture Brenna looks pissed off and Cailee looks like she's about to say a really bad word. Then I took off their bibs, stood them up and leaned them against the hay, and they enjoyed that. They looked like two little ladies, although, all they wanted to do was eat the hay.

Harvest Festival (Ben)

We had a great family day today at a nice Harvest Festival out in PA. It wasn't crowded like all the festivals in NJ and they had lots of fun stuff to do. Pumpkin picking, of course, but also a hay maze, pedal car races, bounce house and slide, sand art, bunny petting, pumpkin painting and even a ride on the ski lift to the top of the ski mountain. All for $5.... Amazing. Oh yeah, and a cornbox (instead of sand) and Ben made a 'corn' angel. We all had a blast and we stayed until they closed the place.

2 Babies in a Basket!

Jill is pulling the girls around the house in the laundry basket and they love it! They seem to be getting bigger every day now and they're getting around on their own lately more and more. So putting them in a basket is a good idea, for a little while anyway. They've slept through the night the past few days now... sleep is good for everyone.
