Dada, You in there?

I'm trying my first ever video update to the blog... This is what happens when Ben and I go to the Home Depot. First we opened every refrigerator door, then we moved on to the oven doors. I had to capture this in a video when he started calling for me IN the ovens. "Dada, you in there??!" Too funny... You may not be able to hear it, but he also asks me to answer the phone when it rings over the store intercom.

So much to our dismay, Ben figured out a new way to experience the slide today.... head first.  We were the only ones crazy enough to be playing on the playground on this very cold day today, so I couldn't blame it on some bad older kids or anything. He just discovered it on his own.

A couple of times I thought he was actually going to take off at the end of the slide!

But he didn't... He just laughed the whole time and kept asking me "was that funny Daddy?" every time he got to the bottom. I wasn't sure how to answer so not to encourage him too much - but yes, it was funny.

Then of course next he decided to climb UP another slide. What's wrong with just sliding down feet first? At least we know he's a confident and creative thinker and just doesn't conform to all the other sliding kids - not that there were any on this cold and windy day...
